Supported Evaluation Boards

Overview

The MAX14914 peripheral module provides the hardware to evaluate the MAX14914 high-side/push-pull driver that operates as both an industrial digital output (DO) and an industrial digital input (DI).

Refer to the MAX14914 IC data sheet for detailed information regarding operation of the IC.

Power Supply Requirments

The MAX14914PMB device has to be supplied with a 24V DC output AC adapter and with voltage of 3.3V.

Basic example

This is a simple example which initializes the max14914 and sets the state of the device to a DIGITAL INPUT IEC TYPE 2.

In order to build the basic example make sure you have the following configuration in the Makefile Makefile

# Select the example you want to enable by choosing y for enabling and n for disabling
