Description
This is a Linux industrial I/O (Linux Industrial I/O Subsystem) subsystem driver, targeting Resolver-to-Digital Converters. The industrial I/O subsystem provides a unified framework for drivers for many different types of converters and sensors using a number of different physical interfaces (i2c, spi, etc). See Linux Industrial I/O Subsystem for more information.

Adding Linux driver support
Kernel configuration
Configure kernel with make menuconfig (alternatively use make xconfig or
make qconfig)
Enable CONFIG_AD2S1200 with CONFIG_SPI and CONFIG_GPIOLIB on
a real target (COMPILE_TEST also satisfies the Kconfig GPIO dependency).
The module is ad2s1200.

Driver testing
Identify the device by reading name under
/sys/bus/iio/devices/iio:deviceX/; the number X depends on probe order.
The device exposes separate position and velocity attributes:
in_angl0_raw/in_angl_scale for position, and
in_anglvel0_raw/in_anglvel_scale for velocity. Position is an unsigned
12-bit code; velocity is a signed 12-bit code.
