  • Digital Signal Processors (ADSP)

    ADI has a large portfolio of Digital Signal Processors (see Selection Table for Digital Signal Processors). A subset of those processors include ARM Cortex cores and are prefixed with SC for “SHARC Connect”. They can run baremetal applications, an RTOS or Linux. Cortex-M33 models are appropriate for a baremetal application or an RTOS, while Cortex-A5 and Cortex-A55 can also run 32-bit or 64-bit Linux respectively.

    The ADALM-PLUTO Active Learning Module (PlutoSDR) Buy is an easy to use tool available from Analog Devices Inc. (ADI) that can be used to introduce fundamentals of Software Defined Radio (SDR) or Radio Frequency (RF) or Communications as advanced topics in electrical engineering in a self or instructor lead setting. The PlutoSDR allows students to better understand the real-world RF around them, and is applicable for all students, at all levels, from all backgrounds. Early learning in a hands-on manner with the PlutoSDR will ensure a solid foundation for students to build on, as they pursue science, technology, or engineering degrees.

  • ADALM-UARTJTAG

    In a few of the designs we have done, like the pluto and m2k there hasn’t been enough room on the PCB for serial and JTAG, so we put it on a small breakout board, which communicates to the main platform with a small 10-pin ribbon cable, which is known as the ADALM-UARTJTAG.
